I got a closet organizer out of storage after 15 years. the darn thing is all sticky, what's the best goo re?
Wednesday, March 18th, 2009remover. I tried windex, that green stuff that smells like a church bathroom, alchol, bleach cleaner, and dishwasher detergent. what should do the job without removing the paint. The organizer is metal wire racking with a white paint over the top, made by closetmaid. thanks for all the help. (I was thinking goo off or carb cleaner)
Goo Gone-it's awesome! Spray it on, let it soak for a few seconds then wipe off. Repeat as necessary. Then do a quick wipe down with warm dishwater on a rag to get the Goo Gone off (kinda oily). It's not harmful to most surfaces and it smells great (like oranges). Found at Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. Basically where ever cleaning supplies are sold.
